Baan
Ta Rue is a village on the lake shore situated on Moo 9, Baan Ta Rue.
It is the harbour for transporting fish. It is a small village with a
nice atmosphere especially during winter. Most of the villagers here are
fishermen, others are rafting guides and restaurant owners. The rafts
for the tourists consist of temporary and overnight. There are food to
be served and are fully decorated.
The
tourists can travel to Baan Ta Rue by starting from Uttaradit province,
take the 1145 route for around 30 kilometers until you arrive at Ruam Jit
T-junction take the left junction for 10 kilometers (to Amphur Ta Pla
and Din Dam) until Amphur Ta Pla take the left junction to Baan Ta Rue
for around 7 kilometers (to the
Office of Accelerated Rural Development of Baan Sam Roi Met – Baan Ta
Rue and the Office of Accelerated Rural Development of Baan Lerd Chai –
Baan Huay Rok Chang).

city. It is always full of Buddhist. Therefore, the villagers changed
the name of the temple from Wat Ton Makam to WatTummatippatai.
