This royal temple,
dating from the Ayutthaya period, once lay abandoned, though the
ordination hall has since been renovated. The ordination hall, or
Ubosot, has a unique feature: its base is composed of train tracks.
Renowned artist Chun Hattha koson, a native of Sing Buri, created the
beautiful carvings that adorn the doors and window panels. It is said
that he spent 10 years carving these particular pieces of art.The temple is around 16 km from the town of Sing Buri, on Highway 311 (Sing Buri–In Buri, the old route) between Km 14-15. The temple is open daily from 8.00 am-4.30 pm. For more information, call 03658 1408.
