Si Mahosot Ancient
City is a collection of historic ruins located in Ban Khok Wat, Tambon
Khok Peep. The oval-shaped city was constructed in the Dvaravati Period
(6th-13th centuries), and covers an area of nearly 280 acres.Now, visitors can see the remains of the city: moats, earthen walls, and many ancient Hindu sites.
The site is located approximately 20
kilometers from Prachin Buri town. To get there, take Highway No. 319
and turn left at Km. 130 onto Highway No. 3070. Proceed for another 1
kilometer. The ancient town is located on the right hand side.
