Kaeng Hin Phoeng are
rapids in the Sai Yai River, which originates in Khao Yai National Park
in Amphoe Na Di. The rapids include a fierce whirlpool that can only be
navigated by skillful oarsmen with a great deal of effort. The trip
through the rapids begins with a one-hour journey through the exciting,
white-water portion, which turns into smooth water for another hour
before the trip ends. There is an annual rafting competition.Please note that visitors can only raft during the rainy season, from June to October. The rafting trips are organized by local resorts in Na Di district.
