Located 33 kilometers
off shore from Ranong, Koh Phayam is famous for both its long fine white
sandy beaches and dense area of forest. There are a big community live
on there and help taking care of the island. Its sea along the coastline
is filled by beautiful coral reefs. The most stunning one are on the
west side of the island where there are bungalows offers for visitors as
well. The best beach to lie on is Hat Kham which is on the southern
part which is home to pure white sand in peaceful environment. Another
popular activity here is watching migrant birds that will migrate here
during winter between November to March.Admission: 200 baht for adult and 100 baht for children

To get there: Visitors can charter boats from Ranong Pier for about 1,000 baht per trip. Visitors can also charter speedboats from KohPhayam Resort. Prices range from 2,000 to 4,000 baht, depending on the size of the boat.
