This center is located
in Yaring National Forest, covering nearly 200 acres of lowland forest.
A 1,250 meter wooden bridge provides a walkway for nature study of the
marshy forest. Along the nature trail, there are several varieties of
mangrove trees, numerous other species of plants, a rest area and a
13-meter-tall bird-watching tower.The Yaring Managrove Education Center is the starting point for interesting boat trips along three canals: Khlong Bang Pu, Khlong Klang, and Khlong Kolae. Along the banks of each of these canals, visitors can see virgin mangrove forests, an abundance of water creatures, varied birdlife and the rural lifestyle of the locals.
To reach Yaring Natural Study Center, take Highway 42 about 15 kilometers east of Pattani town to Yaring District town. The center is opposite the Yaring District Hall near Yamu Canal.
